The Simple brand concept was founded by a chemist whose children suffered from sensitive skin. He wanted to develop a kind and gentle soap they could use. The result: the first perfume- and colour-free soap suited to sensitive skin, which was first marketed in 1960.
As a strong following grew in the UK, Simple developed other 100% perfume- and colour-free skincare products that were also dedicated to sensitive skin. In 1978, Simple pioneered the 3-step skincare regime: cleanse, tone and moisturise.
Over the decades, more Simple products have been introduced for bath, shower, anti-perspirant and haircare. Simple packaging has evolved as well – to evoke the refreshing and nurturing benefits of the brand.
To this day, the Simple brand has gone from strength to strength, broadening its product ranges to offer solutions for all skin types, even for sensitive skin.
